Fresh off the back of their first loss of the season to the Northern Mystics, the Pulse came out with intent in the second half.

There was only five goals in the match at half time before the hosts netted 19 goals to 12 in the third quarter.

The Pulse were helped by a 93 percent success rate from shooters Aliyah Dunn and Tiana Metuarau compared to the 85 percent success rate of the Magic.

A string of six unanswered goals ensured the Pulse would walk away with maximum points and reinstate their buffer at the top of the premiership points ladder.

They're three clear of the Southern Steel, with the Magic in third and the Mainland Tactix rounding out the top four.
