The All Whites goalkeeper Mark Paston doesn't believe his long injury break will be a disadvantage when coach Ricki Herbert comes to deciding who his first choice keeper for the football world cup will be.
Paston's and the other New Zealand and Australia-based players are taking part in a 12 day training training in Auckland in the lead up to the June tournament.
Paston, who saved the penalty that helped the All Whites to a one nil win over Bahrain and qualify for South Africa, hasn't played since early December after suffering a knee injury but is unconcerned about his lack of matchplay.
