Guido Pella of Argentina has a shoulder injury and he's been replaced by a lucky loser Taro Daniel of Japan.
American Ryan Harrison has also withdrawn because of fatigue and has been replaced by Liam Caruana of Italy.
Harrison, who won the French Open doubles title with New Zealander Michael Venus last year, was beaten in the final of the Brisbane International on Sunday.
Yesterday eighth seed Andrey Rublev of Russia withdrew because of injury.
