Team New Zealand has had their second fortunate win in the Louis Vuitton yact race in Auckland after Britain's Team Origin retired following sail problems.
Origin were in front for much of the race, but encountered problems when they tried to put up the headsail because of a broken spinnaker pole.
Yesterday Team New Zealand were trailing Mascalzone-Latino until a gear failure on the Italian yacht enabled New Zealand to overtake the visitors.
Today's win takes Team New Zealand to three wins from three races.
