Georgia have become the latest nation to emerge from the global qualification process to confirm their place at Rugby World Cup 2011 following a 17-9 victory over Spain at the National Stadium in Tbilisi.
A seventh victory in eight matches in the European Nations Cup 2010 extends Georgia's lead in the standings and ensures they cannot now finish outside the top two places which have direct qualification for RWC 2011.
Georgia currently have 23 points - the only blot on their record a 20-20 draw with Portugal last season - and will pick up at least two more, even if they lose their two remaining matches to Romania and Russia.
Only Russia can still reach 25 points or more, so Georgia were able to celebrate qualifying for a third successive Rugby World Cup, even if they do not yet know whether they will join Pool B as Europe 1 or Pool C as Europe 2.
