New Zealand golfer Lydia Ko has been unable to defend her Canadian Open title, finishing 10 shots behind the runaway winner - Thailand's Ariya Jutanugarn.

The women's world No.1 got off to a solid start with three birdies on the front nine but was stymied by a bogey at the 12th.
Ko finished with a birdie at the 18th, taking her to a 13 under par total and a tie for seventh.
Jutanugarn on the other hand racked up her fifth win of the season after shooting a six under 66 in the final round.
The world No.2 only had one blemish on the card - a bogey at the par three third.
The 20-year-old finished four shots clear of Sei Young Kim who claimed solo second.
Ko still holds the lead in the Race to CME Globe standings with 10 tournaments remaining.

Meanwhile fellow New Zealand golfer Michael Hendry has finished second at the latest Japan Tour event.
Hendry finished in a three-way tie for second on 10 under par, five shots behind the winner, Ryo Ishikawa.
Hendry shot a three under 69 final round - the same as the Japanese.
