Rio 2016 Olympics - New Zealand sailors Peter Burling and Blair Tuke have secured gold in the the 49er men's skiff before the medal race has even been run.
The pair secured the Olympic title after today's first race, when they finished fifth, sealing their medal position with two races to spare.
They finished fourth in today's second race.
However they will have to wait until after Friday's medal race to receive their Olympic golds.

"For it all to come together today, still with a race to spare, is just unreal - really really stoked right now," Tuke told Sky Sport.
"That was definitely the goal this morning - to try and wrap it up today.
"Just over the moon that all the hard work we've done over the last four years is paying off."
Tuke and Burling won silver at the London Games four years ago and are the current four time defending 49er World Champions.
The pair finished today's races with 40 points - 45 less than their closest rivals, the German crew - meaning they have an unassailable lead heading into the medal race - a remarkable achievement considering the strength of the Olympic field.
