NZ rowers finish in the medals

The New Zealand rowing team has finished the World Cup event in Lucerne with three gold, two silver and three bronze medals.

Olympic champion single sculler Mahe Drysdale won his final, with the unbeaten men's pair of Hamish Bond and Eric Murray and the men's lightweight four also taking gold on the last day of racing.

The women's pair of Rebecca Scown and Genevieve Behrent claimed silver before finishing third in the women's eight.

The men's double sculls crew of Robbie Manson and Chris Harris came second while lightweight women's double scullers Julia Edward and Sophie MacKenzie claimed bronze.

New Zealand ended the regatta with eight medals after Zoe McBride won bronze in the lightweight women's single scull on the penultimate day.
