West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo has joined the team's long injury list after he was ruled out of the upcoming one-day international series against Australia with a broken finger.
Bravo broke his finger while playing for Victoria against Tasmania in the Australia's recent domestic Twenty20 competition.
The all-rounder remained in Australia because officials had hoped he'd recover in time to play some part in the series, but the team has now sent him home to fully recover.
Bravo will be replaced by veteran left hander Wavell Hinds.
The West Indies are already without Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Fidel Edwards, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Jerome Taylor, Daren Bravo and the suspended Sulieman Benn for the series of five one-day internationals and two Twenty20s.
