The US basketball great Kobe Bryant has become the Los Angeles Lakers all-time leading points scorer after bagging 44 points in a 95-93 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA.
Bryant now has 25,208 career points, surpassing another lakers legend Jerry West.
Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson missed the chance to make it a landmark double, the defeat meant he remains tied with Pat Riley as the all-time winningest coach for the Lakers on 533 victories.
