The New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor admits it was a bitter-sweet moment for him as he just missed out on a triple century in the second Test against Australia in Perth.

After four days Australia are 258 for 2 in their second innings, with a lead of 193 runs.
Earlier Taylor, broke the record for most runs scored by a touring player in Australia when he notched up 290, surpassing Reginald Foster's record of 287 back in 1903.
He was the last batsman to fall as the Black Caps made 624.
He said it would have been nice to have made 300.
"If you'd told me at the start of the day that I would have been close I would of taken it. I feel a little happier that Boulty [Trent Boult] didn't get out because he was so nervous out there, if he got out when I was close I think that would've broken him for a few years.
"I was happy after the way I batted in Brisbane I was all at sea I was a little underdone and I trained pretty hard leading into the Brisbane game [first test] and sometimes when you train too you don't get the results. Leading into this game I sort of just let it all go and I don't care how ugly I looked I just wanted to bat and see where it took me and 290, I'll take it."
Taylor batted a day and half racking up almost nine and a half hours at the crease and his 290 included 43 fours.
Australia will resume today with Steve Smith on 131 and Adam Voges 101.
