After starting the final round with a two shot lead, Kuchar fired a three-under-par 69, to end the tournament at four-under-par for the tournament, four strokes clear of the Australian Aron Price.

Price went bogey free in the final round firing a one-under 71 to finish his week on even par and outright second.

Kuchar pulled away from the field early thanks to four birdies on the front nine which were helped by calmer weather conditions.

The world number 16 savoured the moment with his father, Peter Kuchar, who carried his bag throughout the tournament.

The Fiji International is Kuchar's first tournament win since April 2014.

Ryan Fox finished in a three-way tie for third, 5 shots from the winner, with Vijay Singh and Nick Cullen.

Hometown hero Singh had a bogey free round shooting a course record of 7-under 65 that included seven birdies to finish one-over-par the card.

Fox fired a final round five-under-par 67 which included seven birdies.
