Merry go-round for Taylor in France

The All Black Tom Taylor is to join triple European champion French club Toulon for a season after the World Cup.

Taylor, who has played three Tests, had originally signed a three-year deal with Bayone who have since been relegated from the top flight of French club rugby.

Bayonne have now loaned Taylor to Toulon for next season.

Meanwhile Toulon have angrily denied allegations of doping.

Marseille prosecutors are investigating several pharmacies in Toulon, in the Cote d'Azur, after notification from France's anti-doping authority.

Reports allege Toulon players had been supplied with anabolic steroids.

Club owner Mourad Boudjellal said: "No player is concerned in this affair, it is totally unfounded information. This is related to a social security fraud that concerns the pharmacist not RCT."

Boudjellal hinted at internal politics in French rugby playing a part in the investigation.
