The 24-year-old shooter enjoyed a breakthrough 2015 ANZ Championship season, following her move across the ditch from the Queensland Firebirds.

She earned a starting spot and scored 206 goals at 78.6 percent.

Wells says she had no hesitation about returning and is excited at the prospect of building on her first season.

"I have loved playing for the Mojo Pulse and consider 2015 a learning year with a lot in the works for next year.

"I just can't wait to hit the court running really; if we can build on creating a good training environment and culture then we will be on track. I know that we could have done a lot better last season and I think that is a lot of my motivation - to find that thirst to make finals next year."

The Pulse head coach Tanya Dearns is delighted to have secured Ameliaranne's services and says she is the future of the Silver Ferns shooting circle.

"She is an important part of our attacking combinations and provides us with huge variety as she is comfortable at either goal shoot or goal attack. The opportunity to consolidate the experience she gained during 2015 is exciting."

The confirmation of Wells' return brings the number of signings for the Pulse in 2016 to six, with Katrina Grant, Phoenix Karaka, Elias Shadrock, Whitney Souness and Chelsea Pitman already secured.
