The Breakers made just two of 20 shots from three-point line.

Guard Ben Madgen top-scored with 21 for Sydney while former NBA star Josh Childress hit 16. The best the Breakers could manage was Ekene Ibekwe's 15 points.

Breakers swingman Tom Abercrombie made an early return from injury after missing the last two games with a quad injury. It was initially feared he could miss up to six weeks.
