Diamonds go for sweep

The stand-in Silver Ferns captain Laura Langman says it's critical they don't let Australia get away on them in the first quarter of tonight's final Constellation Cup netball test in Auckland.

The Diamonds have an unassailable three-nil led in the series and are chasing a ninth successive win over the Silver Ferns.

Langman says despite their struggle they can't afford to complicate things.

She says in the last match they lost a couple of the quarters by just 2, but were behind by 7 after the first quarter.

Langman says they need to start better and be more consistent right across the game.

Meanwhile Australian Julie Corletto is looking forward to the opportunity to run out onto her former home court in the Auckland game.

Corletto spent two years playing for the Northern Mystics in the ANZ Championship, while her husband Daryl played basketball for the Breakers.

The defender says it'll be a bit strange and she's not sure what sort of reaction to expect from the Waitakere crowd.

She says it'll be like coming home and hopefully there'll be a few of her supporters in the crowd.
