The New Zealand women's football team has drawn 1-1 with Brazil in Auckland.
In wet conditions at Mt Smart Stadium, Brazil scored just before the break, while Rosie White scored an 85th-minute equaliser for the Football Ferns.
Earlier Hannah Wilkinson had a couple of headers come back off the bar, before White headed in a Wilkinson cross.
Football Ferns coach Tony Readings was left frustrated his side had not got the reward he felt they deserved from a performance which thoroughly tested the world number six side.
Readings says they had a couple of penalties they didn't get and a couple of chances they could have done a bit better with.
He thought they could have won by a couple, but they'll learn from that.
The teams now head to Taupo for the second game of the series at Owen Delany Park on Thursday.
