New Zealand Cricket says it's unable to make any comment on Chris Cairns and his interviews with British police and the ICC over match-fixing.
Cairns returned from London on Friday, continuing to deny any involvement in match-fixing after being interviewed by the Metropolitan police, the England and Wales Cricket Board and the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit.
Cairns says he requested the interview following allegations of match-fixing by former team-mates Brendon McCullum and Lou Vincent.
Cairns says based on the information provided to him he understands former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming and current players Daniel Vettori and Kyle Mills, have also been spoken to by the ICC.
He claims none of them made any direct accusation against him but two made a statement supporting McCullum, while the third couldn't make a statement as his memory was foggy.
The chief executive of New Zealand Cricket David White says many of the points Cairns makes are, or may be, matters of evidence and it would be inappropriate to discuss them ahead of any relevant hearings and investigations.
