Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson has committed to the National Rugby League club until the end of the 2017 season.
The Warriors say they fended off rival rugby league clubs as well as rugby union interest to extend the 23-year-old's career with the club to seven seasons.
The new contract ends any prospect of Johnson playing rugby sevens at the 2016 Olympics, after he'd earlier expressed an interest in being in Rio de Janiero.
