Wizards halt OKC's run

The Washington Wizards have ended the Oklahoma City Thunder's winning run in American basketball's NBA, with a 96-81 home victory over New Zealander Steven Adams' team in the US capital.

That stopped Oklahoma's 10-game winning streak as the Thunder had a collective slump one night after shooting an NBA season-high 63.6 percent in a 25-point win over the Brooklyn Nets.

Thunder star Kevin Durant had a rare off-night with 26 points - still the game's top score - while Adams scored two points in 13 and a half minutes as well as securing three rebounds.
