Veteran halfback Stacey Jones will retire from the National Rugby League again next season after turning down an offer from the New Zealand Warriors to play on.
Jones made a highly-publicised return to the New Zealand-based side this year after the club lured him back on a one-year deal.
Warriors coach Ivan Cleary was keen for the 33-year-old to sign on for another season, however Jones told the club this week he's hanging up his boots.
The club confirmed the news on Saturday night after their draw with the Panthers and will farewell the Warriors after their home game against Melbourne on September 5th.
Jones is the only remaining Warriors' foundation players from 1995 and has now racked up 256 NRL matches.
