Two of the British & Irish Lions rugby players injured during the Second Test against South Africa in Pretoria are to return home.
Leinster and Irish centre Brian O'Driscoll and Osprey and Wales prop Adam Jones both left the field with injuries, O'Driscoll suffering a concussion and Jones dislocating his right shoulder.
Another prop, Gethin Jenkins, who suffered a broken cheekbone in the same match and was also ruled out of the rest of the tour, will stay with the tour party.
With just one match remaining on the tour the British & Irish Lions will not call for replacement players.
Both sides will name their teams overnight Thursday with the Springboks calling up the Sharks lock Johann Muller, who last played a Test two years ago, to replace Andries Bekker who tore cartilage in his knee during the last game.
Forward Danie Rossouw suffered concussion in the game and is being closely monitored but centre Jean de Villiers and halfback Fourie du Preez have been cleared for selection.
Bakkes Botha and Schalk Burger are suspended.
