New Zealand's Cara Baker has finished sixth in the five kilometre Open Water swim on the opening day of the FINA World Championships in Barcelona.
Compatriot Emma Robinson placed 24th.
Rotorua's Kane Radford has taken 18th place in a bunch finish in the men's race over the same distance with Auckland's Phillip Ryan 38th.
