Warriors not as good as they think they are

7:26 am on 27 May 2009

The New Zealand Warriors coach Ivan Cleary admits they were outplayed in every department in their 38-12 loss to the Raiders in Canberra in the National Rugby League.

The Raiders scored seven tries to two and kept the Warriors scoreless in the second half to hand the New Zealanders their fourth straight loss.

The Bulldogs, Dragons and Broncos top the table with 16 points, while the Warriors are 11th with nine points.

Cleary says they were just beaten everywhere. The Raiders ran harder, ran faster and just did everything better - his side was just totally outplayed.

He says maybe they're just a lot happier playing without pressure and he doesn't think there will be any on them anymore.

Cleary says maybe they're just not as good as they think they are.

The Warriors are at home to Wests Tigers on Sunday.
