Seven hundred French Rugby fans have been swindled out of more than a million dollars after buying travel and ticket pakages to the Six Nations opener this weekend.
The fans had brought packages for the French side's match against Ireland in Dublin.
Two people, supposedly directors of the alleged company responsible for the scam, were arrested by French police in Dijon earlier this week.
Reports suggest the pair had created a fictitious online company in order to sell package deals to include airline tickets, hotel reservations and match tickets for the Croke Park clash.
