Blatter puts his foot in it again

FIFA boss Sepp Blatter has again made headlines for the wrong reason after describing a female candidate for the world football body's executive committee as good-looking.

Speaking to the Asian Football Confederation ahead of this weekend's Congress in Mauritius, Blatter made his comments about the Australian candidate Moya Dodd who is one of four women vying to become the body's first permanent female executive committee member.

New Zealand Football board member Paula Kearns is also one of the candidates for the female committee position which should be decided on Saturday.

Blatter has previously urged women footballers to wear skimpier kits to increase the popularity of the women's game.
