Trans-Tasman rivalry will be put to the test again when he faces Australian and top seed Zac Alexander who battled to a five game victory over unseeded South African Shaun Le Roux.
The 26-year-old New Zealand national champion is celebrating his eighth Tour final and second this year.
It will be Grayson's fifth Tour clash with Alexander, the Aucklander boasting a 3/1 head to head advantage.
