Mitchell excited about extending his career

There's no one more excited ahead of this weekend's Bledisloe Cup test in Sydney than the Wallabies back Drew Mitchell.

Mitchell has been named on the bench as a utility back, and after fighting back from a leg injury doctors told him would end his career, Mitchell says he'll enjoy this weekend's test more than most.

He's confident he'll have no problem getting through whatever game time is allocated to him and he'll be wearing custom-designed boots.

Coach Robbie Deans has picked Mitchell largely on experience, and the 28-year-old is hungry to finally taste success against the All Blacks.
