Pulse retain Broughton for another year

The Central Pulse trans-Tasman netball team has retained the services of Robyn Broughton, with the head coach signing up for next season.

Broughton guided the franchise to their best ever season this year with five victories.

She is quick to point out that the job is a long way from being completed and it is very much a case of unfinished business.

Broughton says this has been an enjoyable year, but in terms of success it has simply shown us what is possible.

Pulse chairman Ian Collier is delighted to have secured Broughton's signature saying the board, the players, her management team, the public, their sponsors and supporters across the region have been unanimous in their view that they needed to retain her for 2013.

Collier says it was their number one priority and they're delighted that she will be with them next year.
