The high profile English football manager Harry Redknapp has been sacked by his Pemier League club Tottenham Hotspur only six weeks after being widely tipped to become the new England manager.
The 65-year-old Redknapp says his dismissal had nothing to do with the media circus that had followed him around from the minute Fabio Capello turned his back on the England national side.
Redknapp took Spurs from bottom of the table when he arrived in 2008 to a Champions League quarter-final last year.
He says he's philosophical about his departure, but he's already focused on finding another job in football management.
