Canterbury Bulldogs forward Frank Pritchard will miss Saturday's clash with St George Illawarra after being found guilty of a careless high tackle on Penrith winger David Simmons by the National Rugby League judiciary.
The committee found the 28-year-old guilty and he received a one-game suspension.
Pritchard claimed he didn't intentionally target Simmons' head and was trying his best to avoid a clash of heads.
Canterbury coach Des Hasler, who sat alongside Pritchard during the hearing, shook his head vigorously upon hearing the guilty verdict.
