Kirsten says Proteas have to adjust to local conditions

12:31 pm on 6 March 2012

The South African cricket coach Gary Kirsten says preparation is key to their success in the first test against New Zealand which starts in Dunedin tomorrow.

The momentum is all with the tourists after victory in the Twenty20 and one day series'.

However Kirsten says with 5 new players in the test squad and some indifferent recent test form there is plenty for them to work on.

He says there is lots of experience in the Black Caps lineup and they have the experience in the local conditions.....

The last test at University Oval was in 2009, when New Zealand beat Pakistan by 32 runs.
