A car that plummeted off the third floor of a Hamilton parking building, injuring the two occupants, had reversed through a barrier.
Police said a male and female were in the car driven off the Wilson carpark building in Alexandra Street just before it closed at midnight last night.
The car had reversed from the top of the three-floor building before landing on its wheels on the street below, according to witnesses and police.
Both occupants were taken to Waikato Hospital, where they are in a stable condition.
Police said an investigation was underway, which would include blood tests from the two victims.
