Police are looking for a man who robbed the ASB bank in Te Awamutu with a sawn-off shotgun.

They said the man pointed the gun at a staff member and demanded cash about 4pm.
He took off with an unknown amount of money, down an alleyway towards the Countdown supermarket.
The man was described as a stocky Maori or Pacific Island man wearing a grey hoodie top, dark long pants and sandshoes and carrying a dark back-pack style school bag.
