One person has been arrested after a man's body was found at a South Auckland property yesterday.
Counties Manukau police have launched a homicide investigation after the discovery of the 42-year-old man's body in Takanini.
They said a 39-year-old man called the police yesterday afternoon and had since been arrested and charged with assault.
Police said the two men knew each other and that further charges are likely.
A post-mortem is being carried out today.
