Hamilton police have identified a body recovered from the Waikato River this morning as that of a man missing from his Hamilton home since last month.
A member of the public called police after seeing the body floating north in the river near Swarbrick Landing.
A police rescue boat recovered the body and police had identified it as being that of a 38-year-old local man.
His name would be released tomorrow.
