A 54-year-old man has undergone surgery after sustaining multiple stab wounds in an attack in Hamilton.
Police said the incident happened about 11.30am at a house on Victoria Street.
They said the man was taken to Waikato Hospital in a moderate to serious condition, with a number of wounds.
A 53-year-old woman has been charged and is due to appear in court on Monday.
