Police are appealing for help finding a missing Coromandel man who has very limited speech.
Steven Glasgow suffers from a brain injury and cannot communicate other than to say his name.
The 50-year-old left a farm in Totara Valley, near Thames, late this morning and may be headed to Auckland.
He has brown wavy hair and is bald on the top of his head.
He was wearing jeans, work boots, a wine-coloured woollen hat, long-sleeved shirt and a leather vest.
The police said Mr Glasgow did not drive and anyone who had seen him should contact them.
