Fire has destroyed a large building housing car parts in eastern Christchurch.
The Fire Service was called to the fire at Francella Street, Bromley, at about 3.45pm. The building was well ablaze when crews arrived.
Southern shift manager Brent Dunn said the building, in an industrial area, was well alight when three fire appliances arrived.
He said everyone had been accounted for and investigators were trying to determine the cause of the fire.
