The Armed Offenders Squad has executed a search warrant looking for a suspected methamphetamine laboratory but did not find a lab at the property in Cromwell, Central Otago.
However, the police said a man had been arrested for the possession of the drug and its utensils, and a woman was taken into custody for questioning.
They said they took all relevant precautions in acting on information about an alleged clandestine operation.
