Four people have been arrested after a package containing $280,000 worth of methamphetamine was intercepted by Police and Customs.
Two people from Hawke's Bay and two from Auckland have appeared in the Napier District Court charged with importing a Class A drug and possessing methamphetamine for supply.
They were remanded in custody to appear in court next month .
Police said the charges were laid after 280 grams of the drug was sent to a Hastings address from China.
Customs staff in Auckland intercepted the package.
