A man who was shot in south Auckland yesterday is now in a stable condition in Middlemore Hospital.
Few details were being released but the police said the 18-year-old was shot yesterday.
They said he was part of a group of three who were taken to an accident and emergency centre in Takanini.
Police said two other men were assisting them with their inquiries.
