A woman's body was found in an alley in Marton on Wednesday morning.
It was discovered at about 8.30am by a member of the public who contacted the ambulance service.
Police have completed a scene examination and say the death is not suspicious.
Inspector Peter Stokes says some next of kin have been notified.
The woman's name has not been released.
