One of two high-risk child sex offenders on the run after breaching an extended supervision order has handed himself in to the police.
Adam Biddle, 39, gave himself up in Whanganui on Wednesday night.
A second paedophile, Brian Conroy, remains at large.
Police say Conroy, 43, could be in Porirua having previously lived in the Stokes Valley area.
They say Conroy knows the police and Probation Service are looking for him and is actively avoiding them.
