Courts Minister Georgina te Heuheu will discuss judges' concerns about court security when she meets judges sitting at district courts in Manukau, Auckland, Waitakere and the High Court in Auckland on Thursday.
She expects judges and staff to raise concerns about safety - particularly at courts in Auckland - during her meetings.
Ms te Heuheu, who was the minister for courts in the last National government, oversaw legislation at the time to bring security officers into courts.
She says increasing court security is a priority, but is unsure if it will translate into more funding in this year's Budget.
