Police are investigating bullet holes at the Kaitaia office of Mana party leader Hone Harawira.

Mr Harawira said a couple of shots were fired through the front window of the office last Thursday night, and his staff reported it to police.
He said he gets regular threats all the time as a politician, but he's taking this very seriously.
"I get threatened with violence and I get death threats. You kind of get used to that kind of stuff, but when somebody starts taking shots at your office, that's another matter altogether."
Mr Harawira said he has no idea who might have done it or why, but he's concerned the shots were fired into a building where people could have been.
