The Queensland Reds will host the Crusaders in the Super Rugby final next weekend. In the semi-finals the Reds beat the Blues 30-13 and the Crusaders beat the Stormers 29-10.
The Stormers had no answer to their visitors at Newlands in Cape Town, as the Crusaders made light of the 11,000 kilometres they had to travel to get there.
The Crusaders scored two tries to one over last year's beaten finalists, with winger Sean Maitland and centre Robbie Fruean crossing before Bryan Habana got one for the hosts in the dying minutes of the first half.
All Black Daniel Carter was the difference with 19 points for the Crusaders, missing just two attempts at goal before being subbed in the 76th minute.
Crusaders captain Richie McCaw says he's proud of what the team's achieved after the earthquakes in Christchurch sent the team on the road all season.
Blues pay for too many errors
The Blues' only try at Brisbane came through lock Chris Lowrey on the stroke of halftime, giving the Auckland visitors some hope at only 15-7 down, but too many errors cost the Blues in the second half.
It was an imperious victory for the home side in front of a crowd of 45,000.
Winger Rod Davies completed a hat-trick of tries after the break and second-five Ben Tapuai scored the other try for the Reds, who were sparked by marauding first-five Quade Cooper.
