A teenager has been charged with the murder of a Rotorua man on 20 August.
Temutu Vincent Ehau, 41, died on Trigg Ave in Rotorua.
Detective Sergeant Phil Wilkinson says the 17-year-old male appeared in the Rotorua Youth Court on Friday.
He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance on 12 September.
Three other people, aged 19, 20 and 64 were earlier charged with assault with intent to injure and possessing offensive weapons.
Online tributes say Ehau was a son, brother, father, uncle and friend of all.
