A person has been taken to hospital with critical injuries after a being hit by a bus in Auckland's Onehunga.
Police were notified about the incident about 11.20am on Monday.
Church Street is currently closed between Selwyn Ave and Upper Municipal Place.

Due to a serious crash a section of Church St, between Upper Municipal Pl and Selwyn St, in Onehunga is now CLOSED. Avoid this area or expect delays with diversions in place affecting all traffic, including bus services. ^ND pic.twitter.com/14O8UaURU2
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised and will examine the scene.
Motorists are told to expect delays in the area and take an alternative route if possible.
