State Highway 1 south of Wellsford has reopened after a rockfall on Tuesday forced its closure.
The road through Dome Valley had been closed between Wayby Valley Road and Wilson Road.
Waka Kotahi said geotechnical engineers had assessed it and the slip was being cleared.
